Process Management
These departments ensure that both aircraft and passengers end up in the right place.

Airside Process Management
Everything related to aircraft, from landing to departure, including runways and airside movements.

Passenger & Landside Process Management
The entire passenger journey, from arrival at Schiphol to boarding. This includes flow management, mobility, safety and passenger experience.

Baggage Process Management
These teams ensure that baggage arrives safely and on time, supported by smart systems and strong collaboration.
Airport Operations Center
This is where the integrated operations plan is created each day, a kind of master plan for how Schiphol will function that day. The team looks up to five years ahead while also adjusting in real time when needed. They work closely with partners such as the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee and Air Traffic Control the Netherlands.

Business Platform Operations
These are multidisciplinary teams that develop digital solutions. With technology and data, they make airport operations smarter, more predictable and more efficient. Think of dashboards, data tools and applications that directly support colleagues on the work floor.
Day2Day Operations
This team ensures that Schiphol runs smoothly every day. We monitor passenger flows, aircraft and baggage, and step in as soon as something gets stuck. We work closely with the teams responsible for aircraft, passengers and baggage to keep everyone’s journey moving without interruptions. In short, we take care of what needs to happen right now so that travellers never notice a thing.
Airport Authority
Schiphol Airport Authority oversees order and safety across the entire airport. We do this based on the Schiphol rules, which apply to everyone who works or moves within the airport area. In addition to supervision, we also contribute to assistance and service, ensuring that travellers and colleagues can always rely on support. The department consists of a Front Office and Back Office and operates within four domains: Airside, Landside, Baggage and Terminal.

In short, Airport Authority safeguards the rules, safety and peace.
Aviation Partnerships
Aviation Partnerships is responsible for the relationship with airlines, ground handlers and related industry organisations. They also safeguard the network of destinations. The team continuously builds an equal, trust‑based relationship with our partners.
Aviation Partnerships communicates partners’ needs, concerns and constraints to Schiphol and vice versa. This is done through ongoing account management, communication, organising events and guiding processes between Schiphol and our partners.
